Christopher Thomas Branham
was born on October 14, 1993 and entered God’s Kingdom on June 24, 2020. He grew up in Round Rock, Texas, and was fortunate to have had many great opportunities in his life. Chris traveled to a dozen countries, played competitive baseball, and excelled at golf and several other sports. He attended a trade school after graduating from Stony Point High School, became a small business owner at 23 years of age, got married, and was a young father of two. Tragedy struck the Branham family on June 24, 2020, as Chris’ life was cut short that day, at the hands of others. It was not until 37 days after his life was taken that he was found, after extensive searches by family, friends, law enforcement, and professional search organizations. This was, and still is, a devastating loss for his parents, Jim & Conny, Chris’ children, and his sister Monica, who was his best friend. The amazing people from Round Rock and surrounding communities came together and embraced the Branhams with love, support, many prayers, and an incredible number of offers to help search for Chris. This will never be forgotten. To celebrate his memory, and to give back to the community, the family, together with close friends, have established a charity under the umbrella of the Central Texas Community Foundation to raise funds for causes that were important to Chris. These causes are focused on trade school scholarships for local high school graduates and financial support for local youth baseball organizations, targeting individuals that need assistance to have the ability to participate. In addition, having experienced first-hand what is all involved in ground, water, and air searches for the missing, and how incredibly important this work is, we will also be donating to all-volunteer Search & Rescue Organizations to help purchase items such as GPS units for their dogs.
