The 2020 HEARD Event showcased performances and testimonials by Central Texas-based athletes, musicians, advocates, and entrepreneurs who all shared one thing in common: a desire to help bridge the gaps towards racial equality. Despite our current climate of doubt and uncertainty, the 2020 HEARD Event embodied how teamwork, friendships, and a collective empathy for one another can unite our communities and help us begin to understand one another. The HEARD EVENT was just one small move to social reform and with continued partnerships with nonprofits, we can achieve our goal to combat racial and economic disparities within the bail system, educate young people to stand up against racial injustice, and support communities in need. Help us continue to move forward, so that one day justice will be achieved for all.
