The Latina Power Fund is dedicated to empowering Latinas residing in underprivileged areas of Houston, Texas. Our programs and initiatives are dedicated to supporting and empowering underserved Latinas who face social or economic challenges.
Our mission is to empower Latinas through a 6-month program that focuses on empowerment and entrepreneurship. We aim to provide Latinas living in vulnerable situations with the tools to create a better future for them and their families.
The program will offer workshops and training sessions on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and personal development.
- Participants will have access to mentors who can provide guidance and support throughout the program.
- The ultimate goal is to equip Latinas with the skills and knowledge they need to start their businesses or advance in their careers, ultimately leading to greater financial stability and independence for themselves and their families.
Why Your Support Matters: The funds will cover the expenses of our operational program, including:
- Mentoring gas allowances
- Paper materials used in classes and activities for the children we care for while their mothers attend classes
- Snacks and drinks for class day!
- Establishing a fund for the entrepreneurship pack that each woman will receive on graduation day
